Youmna Chlala is the Co-Director of WILD for Human Rights, and has been affiliated with the organization since it's inception in 1996. For the last ten years, she has been a lead trainer, developed curriculum, and published on leadership development, intersectional analysis, human rights frameworks, and applying international mechanisms at the local level. She is a former Ralph J. Bunche Human Rights Fellow, and previously served as the co-chair of Amnesty International's Women's Steering Committee, as a member of San Francisco's CEDAW taskforce, and as a Young Women's Advisory Board Member for The Association of Women In Development (AWID). She is the co-founder of GirlSource, an economic empowerment and media organization for low-income, immigrant and young women of color. Youmna is also a writer, editor,
and visual artist with a Masters In Fine Arts from The California College
of the Arts.

Aleyamma Mathew is the Program Director for WILD For Human Rights. Aleyamma has worked for a diverse set of social justice organizations. She has also worked at the Pacific Region Training and Technical Assistance Program for the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement to provide support services to Native communities in the Pacific region including Hawaii, Saipan, Guam and American Samoa. At the local level, she also provided support for the Taxi Workers Alliance of PA, a multi-ethnic membership led workers rights organization that represents over 1,200 drivers in the Greater Philadelphia area that provides drivers with a means to organize for their rights and provides referrals to health and legal services. TWA-PA is part of a growing national network of taxi unions that recently formed the International Taxi Workers Alliance. Aleyamma was also part of the Founding Steering Committee & served as the Program Director for the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development. In her capacity, she helped establish its foundation including obtaining multi year funding, developing web resources, creating an organizational infrastructure, and relevant programming for a network of local community based agencies serving low income Asian, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, refugee, and immigrant communities through community empowerment, development and planning. Aleyamma has a BA in Anthropology & Urban Studies from Temple University in Philadelphia PA and a MA in Anthropology and Gender Studies from the New School for Social Research in New York City. She has also received a graduate certificate in International Studies and Leadership Development from the East West Center in Honolulu, HI.
